Day of Black Sun
This isn’t really much of a post, but now that Day of Black Sun has aired, I’m curious as to what people think about the episode. I’d appreciate it if you could leave your thoughts/comments/reviews in the comments 
However, this post isn’t entirely pointless, just mostly: Episode information is once again a priority, and I’m working on getting information on all the season 3 episodes so far up, along with bios and hopefully some audio soon. I’ve gotten a lot of emails in the past week about new audio tracks from season 3, and I’ll get those up as soon as they’re available
Also, another random note, after about 4 different attempts to move them, the speculation comments are back up, where they originally were all along - on the actual editorial pages. So enjoy, and post new comments I’ll have a new editorial out soon about what I think is going to happen over the course of the rest of Book 3. Wow….how long has it been since I wrote an editorial…? I’m almost nervous…

season 3 is going to be only 11 episodes ending with western air temple. Also check out livevideo.com for more. i cant belive they lost. but there is going to be a season four.

I don’t know where you heard that, but don’t believe it. Nick has announced that season 3 is going to be 20 chapters as always. And although Western Air Temple is Chapter 11, it is most certainly not the last chapter of book 3.
Also, no one knows for sure if there will be a book 4. My guess is not - if Avatar continues, it will be with totally new characters (same kind of story, same nations, bending and everything), and therefore, the seasons will start over, if they even still call them books. To clarify, I’m thinking future Avatar seasons will be like the Chronicles of Narnia - We saw the main characters from the first book briefly, on rare occasions, as secondary characters, but the story did not focus around them. Again though, this is just my guess.
And lastly, so Nick doesn’t sue me, I don’t support the posting of the episodes online

Actually there will be 21 episodes (the invasion was technicly 2 episodes)and their will not be a season 4 according to the makers of avatar

I know that there are 21 episodes in book 3, however there are 20 chapters. Chapter 10 was just two episodes.
It’s weird, it’s annoying, but I’m a very technical person.

I agree w/ James on the whole Book 4 idea.
BUT OMG I LURVED THIS LAST EPISODE!!! The whole Kataang thing… gah, finally Aang makes his move!! Firggin slow, if you ask me lolz
And Sokka going after Azula like that, totally unexpected!
And I’m soo glad Zuzu went good.

me too i am a complete avatar guru ive seen every episode and also i was most surprised when zuko redirected lightning and i cant believe a maybe 80yr old man could become a steroid infested thirty year old lol well also i have some kataang facts 1. when aang saw katara at first sight it was love at first sight but i think that katara began to like him later on 2 in the fortuneteller katara is told she is going to marry a very powerful bender and as posted by james who bettter to be a powerful bender than the avatar and also im asking anyone here can fire lord ozai lava bend? i mean he controlled lightning and shot it at zuko but what if zuko didnt know lava bending ive seen the day of black sun and can you believe that katara got two packs of water i typed avatar book 4 air and it popped up there only working on the very first episode its done because ive seen the text and became thirteen a couple weeks back and they meet a fire nation girl named zana and at tthe end of the episode some type of zana/sokkka ship begins to sail so i thought ‘what if james is right and suki is dead’
