As you will have noticed, I’m doing a lot of site updates at the moment. New poll, poll archive page, and screencaps for episodes 218, 219, 220, and 301 should be up before the end of the weekend. The caps for 208 are up now, you can check them out here. Hopefully, as long as school doesn’t get in the way, more updates like this (I’m almost done with the character and episode sections) will follow soon. Stay tuned!

Animation insider has posted an EXTREMELY DETAILED review of episode 301, the awakening, including screenshots. Spoilers beware of course, but a very good read if you don’t want to wait another two weeks.

YTV has recently released two minutes of an episode from season three, featuring a young Avatar Roku and Fire Lord Sozin. The clip was put on youtube, check it out here.

Just a quick post to say that Nickelodeon has issued a press release about Season 3, check it out here. Just a note, this isn’t your typical “watch our show, here’s when it’s on” statement, it actually gives some details on the plot, which of course qualify as minor spoliers. Read at your own risk.

Sorry for the late notice (I’ve been away from home for the past week), but the date of the premiere of Avatar Season 3: Fire has been announced - September 21st, at 8 PM EST.

As a side note, after a almost month long hiatus, I’m adding new content to the site again, starting with the character bios, you can check out some new ones on the characters page now.

The release date of the Book 3 (yes, that’s right, 3), Volume 1 DVD has been announced- It is October 30th. The cover art is viewable here (Aang with hair ?!?). More details here.

Exciting huh? No release date for season three is announced yet, but it will almost definitely be around September.

NintendoWorldReport.com recently posted some details on the second avatar video game, entitled “The Burning Earth”. Among other things, this one will apparently have multiplayer, “dramatic air battles”, and Zuko and Iroh as playable characters. Read the full report here.
