In a certainly unexpected move, TVShowsonDVD announced the release date, July 29th, and gave away the cover art to the final Avatar DVD, containing the four part season finale. BEWARE BEFORE READING FURTHER: MAJOR SPOILERS.

The kids return to the Fire Nation and prepare for their final confrontation with Firelord Ozai, but they discover that the Firelord has plans of his own: he has ordained himself Phoenix Lord and appointed Princess Azula as the next Firelord. In the spectacular 4-part finale of Avatar Book 3: Fire, Aang fulfills his destiny as Avatar and confronts the Firelord in the greatest battle of the series.

Nickelodeon updated their online TV schedule today, and Avatar is scheduled to air on April 18th, at its usual 8:30 time slot. Although the exact show description is still “undefined”, Avatar hasn’t aired at all on Fridays since new episodes stopped airing, so this might mean its coming back. Please keep in mind though, this is still PURE SPECULATION. I’ll update the site again if a definite air date is announced.

After two years of not even getting a nomination, Avatar won the kids choice award for favorite cartoon today. A big congratulation goes to all the people who work on the show, and a shout out to all the fans that voted!

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the book 3: volume 2 DVD hit the stores today! The DVD contains these five action packed episodes: The Avatar and the Firelord, The Runaway, The Puppetmaster, Nightmares and Daydreams and finally The Day of Black Sun: Part 1 The Invasion. And if that wasn’t enough the DVD contains numerous special features as well. Please consider buying a copy as it would really contribute to the show.

Sorry I haven’t posted for a while but now I’m here with some great news! Well I’m guessing a few of you know already but Dongbu Feng is posting the title for book 3 chapter 16 on the 25th January. If you wish to find out sooner have a go at the crossword located at their site.

And for those who didn’t know the book 3: volume 2 DVD is released January 22nd!

Again DOTBS The Invasion did not air! Instead Nicktoons aired The Puppetmaster as it was (if you’re reading this on Wednesday) Halloween . I’m not going to keep guessing when it will air as I do not want and angry mob forming every time I get it wrong . Although, I am almost certain this time that part 1 is airing on Saturday and part 2 on Sunday. Happy Halloween!

The Book 3: Fire Volume 1 dvd is now available for purchase. It contains chapters 1-5: The Awakening, The Headband, The Painted Lady, Sokka’s Master, and The Beach.

Sadly Day of the Black Sun: Part 1 The Invasion did not air in the UK . Instead nicktoons aired The Awakening again. Though on the bright side it seems it will be airing on Wednesday at 4:00pm and there will be 1 new episode a week .

As you may know avatar season 3 was released to the UK on monday. They (including me ) are getting 2 episodes a day for the whole week.

On friday nicktoons are airing Nightmares and daydreams + Day of the black sun part 1 : The invasion. After that in the weekend classics from book 1 and 2 will be shown.
