Chief Arnook

Chief Arnook- First Seen: Book 1: Chapter 18
Affiliation: Water
Personality: Arnook is loving and compassionate, and cares for his daughter and the rest of his people. Although Arnook welcomed Katara and Sokka, and valued Sokka's input as to how they should defend themselves against the Fire Nation, he also believes in the traditional gender roles of the Northern Tribe. It is unknown how much he would have therefore valued Katara's input.

Powers: Chief Arnook holds political power over the Northern Water Tribe. Technically, it isn't known whether or not he's a bender, but if he was, he probably would have fought in the battle for the north pole.

Background Info: Arnook is the father of Princess Yue, now the moon spirit. He was given a vision when his daughter was born sick, that although she would live through the power of the moon spirit, one day, that power would have to be given back, and she would become the moon spirit.
