King Bumi

King Bumi- First Seen: Book 1: Chapter 5
Affiliation: Earth
Personality: Bumi is a partly insane, partly humorous, and very rarely, serious earthbender. Although he is very intelligent, he does seem like something hit him hard on the head when he was very young. His cleverness combined with his craziness leads to ideas like using the mail system of Omashu as a super slide.

Powers: Bumi is a master earthbender, and seems to have an unusual knowledge of the "85 Jings", something even Aang didn't know completely about.

Background Info: Bumi is Aang's only surviving friend from before the war, and has remained, even after 100 years, a fun loving child at heart. It's easy to see how Aang befriended him. Together, they got in and out of trouble in Omashu, until Aang disappeared. In the 100 years we don't see him, Bumi somehow managed to master earthbending, and, more surprisingly, become King of Omashu (possibly an elected position). Despite the time that has gone by, Bumi is basically the exact same person that Aang remembers.
