Gansu- First Seen: Book 2: Chapter 7

Personality: Gansu's character is respectable, honorable, honest, and caring. Like his son, Lee, Gansu stands up to those who abuse their power, and isn't afraid to speak out about what he thinks is right. Gansu's entire family share a strong bond. When he hears that his older son was captured, he immediately sets out to attempt to find him, even in the middle of battle.

Powers: None

Background Info: Gansu has two sons, Lee, who is around 12, and an older son, who is old enough to fight in the war. When the leader of a group of corrupt earthbenders tells Gansu that his son was captured in battle, Gansu immediately sets off to the front lines, leaving behind Lee, his wife, and his farm, to attempt to find his oldest child. It isn't know where he is now.
