Blue Team's Event Week Fanfiction
"Sokka, save some for us!"
"Sorry, Katara."
It had been a day since the massive battle down in the Crystal Catacombs. Katara, weary of working on healing Aang, had been irritable the during time she wasn't healing. And in the meantime, Toph and Sokka bickered with each other constantly, though that wasn't very new. Hakoda, however, found it inappropriate for the time. An irritable sister, a hungry big brother, a whiny but concerned blind Earthbender, and an uncouncious Avatar.
"Sokka! Save some for the others." Hakoda told Sokka.
He willingly gave the little food that he had to the others who then in turn began fighting over it again.
"I need the food more!! I've been working harder than you have!" Toph scowled.
"Doing what?!" Sokka started, and the whole group descended into turmoil once again.
"Guys, please stop."
A faint voice came from the tent. All ruckus stopped as Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Hakoda ran into the tent. There was Aang, finally conscious after the battle.
"Aang, how are you feeling?" Katara asked worriedly.
"Not so great," Aang moaned, "but I'd feel better if we could all just get along. The whole world is fighting, can't there even be peace between friends?"
Sokka, Katara, and Toph all blushed, but none of them had the courage to apologize for their childish behavior. Everyone was surprised when it was Sokka who spoke up,
"You're right Aang, we're sorry. We've been focusing on fighting each other, but what we should be thinking about is fighting the fire nation."
Aang gave a weak smile and said, "Though I doubt I'll be ready to fight anyone soon."
"The boats are ready!" A Water tribe man called.
"You need to rest as much as you can, Aang. We'll take care of everything." Katara soothingly reassured the Avatar, and with that, he was taken onboard, heard the sound for departure, and shut his eyes.
Everything would be fine.
