The release date of the Book 3 (yes, that’s right, 3), Volume 1 DVD has been announced- It is October 30th. The cover art is viewable here (Aang with hair ?!?). More details here.

Exciting huh? No release date for season three is announced yet, but it will almost definitely be around September.

The Avatar Escape section has been updated again, now containing screencaps, video, audio, and transcripts of the “Kuruk” chapter of the online comic. View it here. The “Yangchen” section will be up within a day or two.

The Avatar Escape section has been updated, with video, audio, transcripts, and screencaps for the Roku and Kyoshi chapters. The final two chapters, Kuruk and Yangchen, should be up within a day or two. Also, inspired slightly by the Avatar Escape info, another new page is up, containing pictures of all the faces of Koh, which is now accessible in the background info section.

NintendoWorldReport.com recently posted some details on the second avatar video game, entitled “The Burning Earth”. Among other things, this one will apparently have multiplayer, “dramatic air battles”, and Zuko and Iroh as playable characters. Read the full report here.

I’m going through a mass update of a lot of sections in waterbender, this post will be edited over the next few days to outline all of the updates. For now-

Character bios is going through an update, in addition to the change in url (/characters instead of /bios), I’m making a separate page for each character, so as to have more information on each, etc.
Edit: There’s a short list of the ones I have done so far up here, but I’m working hard, so expect more soon

The Avatar Escape section has been moved to the left nav under “The Show”. I’ve added a lot of stuff to it regarding the Avatar Roku comic, including 105 screencaps, two different transcripts, and more coming soon. The other comics will have all this info up for them asap.

I finally figured out how to have different nav images for each layout, so the site might look a little funny from time to time for a day or two while I update each layout. Sorry if that bothers you

The page “The Legend of Avatar” has been added to the background information section, it is Nickelodeon’s text summarizing the plot of Avatar. I decided to put it up because it’s really hard to find on Nick’s website o.0
